How to restore brain vessels after stress

To strengthen blood vessels, doctors recommend including foods containing large amounts of vitamins P and K in your diet and diet. Drugs from the category of venotonics work on a similar principle. Their main task is to restore the original tone of the blood vessels, and also to strengthen their walls, giving them elasticity.

Scientists have long established a compelling link between human nutrition and cognitive health.

In this article we will look at the 7 most useful products that will help strengthen the blood vessels of the brain and neck, improve blood circulation, increase memory and attention.

Top 7 foods that are good for the blood vessels of the head

The following products will help normalize the condition of the blood vessels of the head, as well as prevent strokes and cleanse the body. They definitely need to be included in your daily diet. Here is a list of which ones are the best.

They are rich in vitamin K, and also contain a large amount of vitamins that normalize the salt balance of the plasma.

If you include them in your diet and eat them daily, nuts will strengthen blood vessels and prevent demineralization of bone tissue.

They are rich in fiber, and at the same time they contain a high amount of fructose (which is absorbed and broken down in the body much better than simple carbohydrates).

And prunes and dates are high in vitamin P. Dried apricots contain vitamin A, which restores the structure of the epithelium of the walls of blood vessels and also improves cerebral circulation.

But you shouldn’t overuse honey – it contains a large amount of sugar, which in excess reduces the elasticity of capillaries.

Thanks to this, the likelihood of the formation of atherosclerotic plaques and blood clots, which clog the supplying vessels of the brain, is significantly reduced.

Since ancient times, traditional healers have used beets to cleanse the blood of toxins and harmful cholesterol. And its inclusion in the diet has a positive effect on the functioning of the digestive tract: peristalsis and intestinal motility improve.

As practice has shown, metabolism directly affects the state of the cardiovascular system. At the same time, it is enough to include only 30–40 grams of beets in your diet to provide your body with a sufficient amount of fiber.

Thanks to the essential oils in its composition, garlic reduces the concentration of cholesterol in the blood

Garlic is also good for cognitive health, as it improves intercellular metabolic processes in the brain and neck, and also normalizes capillary tone.

Green tea improves the tone of blood vessels in the brain, but practically does not increase blood pressure, so it can be used even for hypertension.

It is also useful to include this tea in the menu for frequent migraines - it helps reduce the duration and severity of headache attacks.

Now let's talk about traditional medicine.

How can you strengthen cerebral vessels during VSD?

There are many methods known to strengthen the blood vessels of the brain. This will help in getting rid of headaches, constant fatigue, surges in blood pressure and other manifestations of certain diseases. Even at a young age, weak arteries, veins, and capillaries occur, and with age such changes only intensify.

Blood vessels carry nutrients and oxygen throughout the body. They work around the clock, without rest or break. Age, poor nutrition, and poor lifestyle weaken blood vessels, making them perform their job worse. Internal organs lack nutrition and oxygen - this is how diseases begin. Strengthening blood vessels will prevent the onset of the disease or solve existing problems.

It is especially important that those vessels that supply blood to the brain are healthy. The gradual deterioration of their condition leads to dystonia (VSD). Further disruption of cerebral circulation provokes the appearance of blood clots, loss of mental activity, numerous diseases, and disability.

Pharmacology offers a large number of drugs to strengthen cerebral blood vessels. They will help improve concentration, restore strength and elasticity to vascular walls, and reduce blood clots. A doctor must choose medications and determine the dosage; self-medication with such medications is unacceptable and can lead to a worsening of the situation.

Among modern means, they are highly effective

Medicines that help strengthen the walls of blood vessels, for example, Ascorutin, Dihydroquertecin.

  • Nootropics that stimulate mental activity - Aminalon, Phenotropil.
  • Homeopathic remedies, for example, Cerebbalik.
  • Medicines aimed at restoring cerebral circulation - Detralex, Huato Boluses.
  • Medicines that help improve brain function, increase efficiency, concentration, for example, Chinese lemongrass, Semax.
  • Drugs for relaxing arteries and improving blood supply - Adalat, Diazem, Cordafen.
  • Herbal medicines to normalize brain activity, for example, Bravinton, Vinpocetine, Telektop, Cavinton.
  • Drugs that help lower cholesterol in the blood and prevent the formation of blood clots on the walls of blood vessels - Enduratin, Nicotinic acid, Nikoshpan.

To obtain a positive result, you must take medications in courses, without deviating from the doctor’s recommendations. It is better to buy medications for treatment at a pharmacy to avoid counterfeits.

I really want to recover faster, but treatment usually requires a long time and significant effort. This especially applies to traditional medicine. They need to be consumed for a long time, and often you have to prepare them yourself. Traditional medicine methods are not the main way to combat the disease, but only promote recovery and have a milder effect on the body and affected organs.

  • Increase blood flow.
  • Strengthen vascular walls.
  • Stabilize blood pressure.
  • Restore the elasticity of arteries, veins, capillaries.

Lemon juice has worked well. You need to drink 2 glasses every day, but it must be diluted with water (about a third). If it is still sour, then there is no need to add sugar - it is better to use honey. You can also mix honey with lemon, carrot, beet juice (all 200 ml) with the same amount of grated horseradish. Add 50 ml of vodka to this mixture. Use 1 tbsp. l. approximately 1 month.

People who have diseases of the digestive system should use folk recipes with lemon carefully.

You should consult your doctor about the use of such drugs, especially with increased acidity of gastric juice, with diseases of the pancreas.

Lemon has a healing effect due to its high concentration of vitamin C. This can significantly improve the condition of blood vessels, even restore injured areas. In addition to lemon, rose hips are famous for similar actions. It is good to use rosehip syrup or tincture, which are sold in pharmacies. You can brew tea from the fruit, but it must be prepared immediately before use so that it does not lose its valuable medicinal properties.

Regular tea (black or green) strengthens vascular tone. To have a positive effect on the circulatory system, you need to drink at least 3 glasses a day. To enhance the therapeutic effect, you need to add milk and honey to the tea; it is better not to use sugar.

Another traditional medicine recipe will have a strengthening effect on the entire body. It is necessary to grind 500 g of prunes, dried apricots, lemon with peel, but without seeds, in a meat grinder. Add chopped 3 heads of garlic and walnuts (20 pieces). Mix this mixture with fresh (liquid) honey. Eat 1 tbsp. l. after breakfast and dinner every day. If you have stomach problems, you can not add garlic, but pour 1 tsp into the mixture. olive oil.

For weak blood vessels, it is recommended to limit fat in the diet, because it cannot be completely eliminated. Many internal organs and systems of the body require fat to function properly. It is better to consume vegetable fats instead of animal fats, and also eat more raw vegetables and fruits. It is worth limiting salt, but not excluding it from your diet - the body also needs it in reasonable quantities. Hot chocolate is very beneficial for the body - it can protect against oxidative processes. But to prepare the drink you must use high-quality chocolate, otherwise there will be no therapeutic effect. A type of hot chocolate like cocoa helps a lot.

Fresh garlic and carrots prevent the aging of the circulatory system. Cabbage has a large set of vitamins and contains valuable folic acid.

Constant consumption of this vegetable in any form helps to avoid damage to blood vessels and the development of Alzheimer's disease.

Nuts (especially walnuts and almonds), as well as olive oil, help fight bad cholesterol and enhance brain activity. The former elasticity of the arteries, veins, and capillaries is restored by the use of wild berries - blueberries, lingonberries, blueberries.

Proven folk recipes

In folk medicine there are a lot of recipes with which you can restore normal vascular tone no worse than with the help of venotonics and similar medications. But before using any of them, you should definitely consult your doctor.

Garlic tincture will help not only strengthen the immune system, but also increase the resistance of the capillaries that permeate the brain to mechanical rupture. Prepare like this:

Take 5 drops 3 times a day until the end of the prepared infusion, along with the usual diet menu. No more than 2 such courses are allowed annually (with a break of 6 months).

We suggest you watch this video:

Clover tincture is considered one of the most effective means for quickly reducing blood cholesterol with increased body fat mass (when lipid metabolism is impaired). Prepare as follows:

  1. thoroughly rinse 0.5 kg of fresh clover (stem and leaves only);
  2. pass the vegetable base through a meat grinder;
  3. put in a 2-liter glass jar and pour in 750 ml of vodka;
  4. leave for 3 days in the refrigerator without stirring;
  5. then strain through several layers of gauze.

Take 2 teaspoons once a day 10 minutes before your planned lunch (you can do it at another time, the main thing is to eat a hearty meal after that). The course of treatment is 1.5 months, then a break of 30 days and, if necessary, a repeat course.

Chestnut infusion is a universal remedy for strengthening and normalizing the functioning of the cardiovascular system. Prepare as follows:

  1. Pour 30 grams of dried chestnut flowers with 0.5 liters of vodka or cognac;
  2. leave for 14 days at room temperature, shaking the mixture daily.

Take 8 drops 3 times a day (you can drop it on a piece of sugar, as the taste is quite bitter).

We recommend watching the video:

A mixture of lemon and honey also strengthens the immune system, cleanses the liver of accumulated toxins, and also normalizes blood pressure, which will be useful for both hypo- and hypertensive patients. To prepare you will need:

  1. Pour boiling water over 1 kg of lemons (including peel), then cut into small pieces and pass through a meat grinder;
  2. add 0.5 kg of honey;
  3. add 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder.

Leave in the refrigerator for 2 days. Next, take 1 teaspoon 3 times a day (can be used as a dessert for tea). You just need to take into account that such a remedy can cause stomach pain due to irritation of the mucous membrane. To reduce the likelihood of such a side effect, you should increase the presence of fermented milk products (but not desserts) in your diet.

Lifestyle changes - 6 tips

To maintain vascular tone and reliably prevent the development of any cardiovascular diseases, it is necessary to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Here are 6 basic tips:

  1. Quitting bad habits (smoking, drinking alcohol and drugs).
  2. Active lifestyle. The minimum number of steps that each person should take per day is 8,000.
  3. Regular physical activity. You should devote at least 30-40 minutes a day to sports, 5-7 times a week. At the initial stages, you should give preference to swimming, aerobic gymnastics, and fast walking.
  4. Diet. The diet should be absent (or consumed in minimal quantities) fatty, smoked, spicy foods, carbonated drinks, and baked goods.
  5. Frequent walks in the fresh air. Country parks and coniferous forests are ideal. Fresh air improves the functioning of the respiratory system, saturates hemoglobin with oxygen and improves the functional state of the nervous and cardiovascular systems.
  6. Rest and lack of stress. It is important to avoid excessive physical and psycho-emotional stress, and also to sleep at least 8 hours a day.

Strengthening blood vessels and capillaries with folk remedies is an additional treatment for circulatory disorders and the integrity of brain vessels. Traditional medicine is not the main treatment (for example, IVs for blood vessels) and does not replace drug therapy, which is placed first in eliminating the causes and symptoms of circulatory and vascular diseases.

You can strengthen your arteries at home with the help of exercise, proper nutrition, traditional medicine and vitamins. These methods not only influence the stabilization of blood circulation, but also have a general strengthening effect on the body, increasing its resistance to stress and resistance to hypothermia, high temperatures, nonspecific infectious diseases and sudden weather changes.

Wellness treatments are the key to good blood vessels

Pathologies in the functioning of the vegetative-vascular system often occur in people who lead a sedentary, sedentary lifestyle, abuse alcohol, and smoke a lot. Wellness procedures are useful for good brain function:

  1. massage, self-massage;
  2. cold and hot shower;
  3. morning exercises;
  4. breathing exercises;
  5. visit to the bathhouse.

Often, cerebrovascular diseases begin with dysfunctions of the nervous system, and this is caused by stress, depression, nervousness, and anxiety. To avoid such manifestations, it is good to engage in meditation and relaxation practices. It is imperative to perform gymnastic exercises, since it is possible to strengthen the blood vessels of the brain during VSD with regular physical activity. Even a few simple exercises can make the blood move faster and the blood vessels clear and strengthen.

Bends forward with straight knees are beneficial for the brain. You need to straighten up slowly, raising your head last. The vibration exercise can be performed only after waking up, without getting out of bed. Lying on your back, you need to raise your legs and arms and shake them, imitating vibration. You need to start with 30 seconds, gradually increasing to 2 minutes. Thanks to this exercise, even the thinnest vessel will receive enough oxygen.

Breathing exercises can be done at work during a break. The simplest are deep inhalations and exhalations through one nostril alternately. It is also useful to take a deep, short breath through your nose, hold the air, then exhale slowly through your mouth, trying to exhale all the air, that is, drawing in your stomach as much as possible.

Not only medications, but also massage can dilate blood vessels and give them elasticity. Everyone can do self-massage. It begins with the earlobes, which must be intensively rubbed until a feeling of warmth appears. Then move to the ear, massaging it, pressing it, as if modeling from plasticine. Next, you should massage the eyebrows, massaging these areas for about 30 seconds, performing circular movements clockwise and counterclockwise. Stretch your neck with smooth movements, moving from bottom to top, while grabbing parts of the head, “combing” the head from the neck up with your nails.

A massage for blood vessels is a contrast shower or contrast baths. They can be done separately for legs and arms. It is good to carry out such invigorating procedures in the morning to recharge your energy for the whole day. But if you don’t have time, then lunchtime will do, but it is not recommended to do contrast baths in the evening - it will be difficult to sleep. A visit to the bathhouse stimulates vasodilation and restoration of impaired blood circulation. But if you have heart disease, you should consult a doctor. Don’t get carried away by high temperatures; regular visits are more important here.

The problem of weak blood vessels gradually leads to a large number of diseases. This often happens with age. But you can take preventive measures by strengthening blood vessels from a young age, constantly maintaining them in good condition.

You need to take a comprehensive approach to recovery - only then will the result be positive and last a long time. By combining healthy foods, rational behavior, wellness treatments and physical activity, you can maintain and improve brain function.

Indications

In what cases should blood vessels be strengthened:

  1. Acute cerebrovascular accidents: hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhage, transient ischemic attack.
  2. Chronic brain diseases caused by disorders: vascular encephalopathy, vascular dementia, cerebral atherosclerosis.
  3. Suffered traumatic brain injuries.
  4. Nonspecific cerebral symptoms: chronic headaches, dizziness, exhaustion, irritability, sleep disturbances, tinnitus, decreased visual acuity, depression, decreased performance, loss of interest in previous activities and hobbies.
  5. Diseases affecting the integrity of cerebral vessels: diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, angiopathy.
  6. Post-intoxication conditions caused by long-term alcohol intake, infections, drug addiction or foodborne toxic infections.

How effective are methods of strengthening blood vessels?

Timely strengthening of blood vessels can prevent stroke in 80% of cases (WHO statistics).

Important aspects in effectively strengthening blood vessels:

  • Timeliness - the sooner you start training, the more effective it will be. You should not wait for the moment when an ischemic attack occurs (pre-stroke condition).
  • Rhythm - the recommendations given by the doctor must be followed constantly, and not just until the moment when you feel better.
  • Sequence - the load should be determined by the doctor in accordance with the individual characteristics of the patient. It will be more effective to constantly carry out moderate loads on the vessels than to continuously increase these loads.

A combination of several methods will give the greatest effect. Diet alone without exercise will not give the desired result, as will the use of medications alone. A complex of good nutrition, optimal training, normalizing blood pressure and reducing stress hormones in the blood will give the necessary effect.

Physical training

Exercises, their specificity, severity and frequency depend on the type of cerebrovascular accident. For example, physical therapy begins 5 days after a hemorrhagic stroke. So, below is a list of exercises, but they should not be performed without consulting your doctor: any incorrectly performed exercise or normal movement increases the risk of a recurrent stroke. Exercises to strengthen blood vessels are complex and performed for the whole body.

Exercises in a lying position:

  • On the back. It is necessary to move your eyes from side to side: left-right and down-up. The same must be done with your eyes closed. The exercise consists of 4 approaches, between which there is a ten-second rest. For example, 4 turns to the sides with open eyes, 4 turns with eyes closed and rest for 10 seconds. This must be repeated 7-8 times.
  • On the back. This exercise develops blood flow in the neck muscles and improves blood supply to the brain. You need to move your head left-right and down-up. The number of approaches and repetitions is the same as the previous exercise.
  • On the back. Alternately bend and straighten your legs at the knee joints, the same applies to the elbows. 10 times for each limb.

Standing position. Standing exercises are performed by patients whose general condition is satisfactory and the previous exercises are easy for them:

  1. Feet shoulder width apart. Hands on the belt. Turn your torso left and right, then spread your arms to the sides and take a deep breath, put your hands on your belt again. Repeat the same algorithm. Number of repetitions – 5 times.
  2. Squats. Straighten your arms in front of you. Feet shoulder width apart. Squat down and keep your heels off the surface. Lean your torso forward slightly and take a deep breath. Rise up slowly. Repeat this cycle of actions 6 times.
  3. Tilts. Place your legs at your sides and place your hands on your waist. Tilt to the left and simultaneously raise your right arm up, inhale deeply. Return to the starting position and exhale. Repeat the cycle of actions 4 times.
  4. Lunges. Place your feet shoulder-width apart and your hands on your waist. Extend your right arm forward and step forward with your left foot, clench your fingers into a fist and place them on your shoulders. Return to the starting position. Repeat the exercise 4 times.

Who needs to strengthen blood vessels?

Coronary heart disease and strokes are the most common causes of death on the planet. There are several categories of people who are at risk for these diseases:

  1. Sedentary people. Thrombosis occurs because in the absence of movement the capillaries practically do not work, the blood stagnates in them.
  2. Athletes. When physical activity increases, blood pressure increases. If the walls of the vessels are weak, complications may develop.
  3. Persons with problematic heredity. If there are victims of stroke or ischemia in the family, it is necessary to pay very close attention to these aspects of health.
  4. Presence of diabetes mellitus, excess weight, endocrine diseases.

All these factors and the presence of bad habits worsen the condition of the blood vessels in the brain. The first symptoms of a problem are:

  • constant fatigue and decreased performance;
  • noise in ears;
  • weakness in legs in the evening;
  • dyspnea;
  • drowsiness and lethargy;
  • feeling unwell when the weather changes.

Attention! If you do not pay attention to these symptoms, you can lead your body to a stroke. Therefore, it is better to improve your health.

Nutrition

Products for strengthening blood vessels:

  • Walnuts and almonds. They contain magnesium. Indications: nutrition to strengthen blood vessels and lower cholesterol. Used for atherosclerosis.
  • Strawberries, cherries, cherries, raspberries and currants. The fruits contain vitamins, potassium, calcium. In addition to strengthening the walls of blood vessels, they tone the nervous system.
  • Garlic. It contains hydrogen sulfide and nitric oxide. These compounds are indicated for vascular lesions caused by high blood pressure.
  • Cereals. They lower cholesterol levels. It is recommended to cook buckwheat and oatmeal porridge. Cereals, in addition to reducing bad fats, contain fiber - it is useful for digestion.
  • Grapefruit. The citrus plant contains vitamins B, A, PP, C and minerals: potassium, magnesium, zinc, phosphorus, copper, iodine and fluorine. These substances strengthen the walls of blood vessels.
  • Avocado. Its properties are used for therapeutic diets for atherosclerosis, lowering low and very low density lipoproteins.
  • Legumes. Contains fiber and iron, magnesium and folic acid. Indicated for arterial hypertension and specific digestive disorders.

Seafood and fish

They contain a lot of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which remove cholesterol and prevent atherosclerosis. Seafood contains iodine in large quantities, which is so necessary for the brain. It strengthens vascular walls, prevents obesity, and regulates fat metabolism.

Contraindications: food allergies, excess iodine, calcium or phosphorus in the body.

Folk remedies

What to drink to strengthen blood vessels:

  1. Cranberry and garlic tincture. They need to be mixed and crushed in equal proportions in a blender and left for 24 hours. After a day, squeeze out the juice and drink one teaspoon in the morning and evening.
  2. Bay leaf tincture. Take a package weighing 5-7 g and fill the plant with a liter of water. Boil for 5 minutes. After preparation, drink several sips per day for 3 days.
  3. Herbs: a combination of motherwort, cucumber, rosehip and motherwort. The total amount should be 4 tablespoons. Pour a liter of boiling water over the injuries and leave for 10 hours. After preparation, the tincture should be drunk 2-3 times a day for a month.

Pharmacy drugs

Discirculatory encephalopathy is diffuse or multifocal damage to brain tissue resulting from vascular pathologies. The disease in its early stages is treatable. Medications that will help strengthen the blood vessels in the brain are developed for the prevention and treatment of vascular pathologies.

Antihypertensive drugs are prescribed at a minimum dose to reduce the risk of side effects. If blood pressure does not decrease enough, the dose is gradually increased. For maximum therapeutic effect, combinations of drugs are used. Principles of wall strengthening therapy:

  1. Therapy with antiplatelet agents - substances that prevent the formation of blood clots.
  2. Statin therapy for elevated blood cholesterol levels.
  3. Limiting table salt consumption. No more than 5 g (half a teaspoon) daily.
  4. Reducing the amount of animal fat in the diet.

Severe narrowing (more than 70% of the space) of weak great vessels located in the brain requires surgical intervention. A stenting procedure is carried out, during which the vascular lumen is expanded using a cylindrical frame - a stent. Reconstruction of the circulatory system involves the surgical connection of individual vessels and the formation of new branches.

Medicines

Medications for strengthening the vascular wall have a versatile effect - they reduce tissue permeability, reduce fragility, and increase elasticity. Medicines are available in the form of tablets, drops, capsules with a coating that is soluble in the intestines or stomach.

The selection of vascular-strengthening drugs for the brain is carried out taking into account the causes of occurrence, the age of the patient and the nature of the course of the pathology. When writing a prescription, the doctor takes into account chronic diseases of organs and systems, possible complications and side effects. Drugs created to strengthen the walls of blood vessels:

  1. Capillary stabilizers (Ascorutin, Taxifolin, Dehydroquercetin). They reduce the permeability of walls, prevent capillary fragility, restore microcirculation, have an antioxidant effect, and participate in redox reactions.
  2. Cardiotonic (“Cardiovalen”, “Adonizid”). Stimulates the activity of the heart muscle. They have a mild sedative (calming) effect.
  3. Angioprotectors (Troxevasin, Escusan). They improve microcirculation and rheological parameters of the blood, expand the vascular lumen, and increase the resistance (resistance) of capillaries to negative external influences. Stimulate metabolic processes in the tissues of vascular walls.
  4. Nootropic drugs (“Piracetam”, “Phenotropil”, “Glycine”). Improve mental functions and memory, stimulate cognitive abilities, increase sensitivity to learning. They stabilize the state of the cell membranes of neurons, normalize the synapse - the interaction and transmission of information between nerve cells in the central nervous system.
  5. Vasodilators and antispasmodics (“Eufillin”, “Cavinton”, “Papazol”). Increase the vascular lumen. They reduce the tone of the smooth muscles of the walls, which prevents the occurrence of spasms and narrowing of the lumen.
  6. Normalizing blood flow. Myotropic antihypertensive drugs (“Apressin”, “Dibazol”) relax the muscle tissue of the vascular walls. Neurotropic drugs (Reserpine, Validol) have an antihypertensive (pressure-lowering) effect and normalize lipid (fat) metabolism. Preparations based on nitrates and their derivatives (“Nitroglycerin”, “Nitrosorbide”) improve cerebral circulation by expanding the vascular lumen.
  7. Calcium antagonists (Verapamil, Nifedipine). They slow down the penetration of calcium into the cells of the heart muscle and blood vessels, inhibit the increase in the volume of cholesterol plaques, and expand the vascular lumen.

To find out how to increase the elasticity of blood vessels located in parts of the brain using medications, it is better to make an appointment with a doctor - a therapist or a neurologist. The specialist will select a treatment program, taking into account the medical history, features of the course of the disease, and the results of the diagnostic examination.

Complexes of minerals and multivitamins

To strengthen the blood vessels and capillaries in the brain, vitamin complexes are indicated, including vitamins B, C, E, PP and trace elements - potassium, selenium, copper, zinc, magnesium, iron.

Vitamins

Strengthening cerebral blood vessels with vitamins, mineral supplements and biologically active substances:

  • Ascorbic acid (vitamin C). It is an antioxidant – it protects brain and vascular cells from excess oxidation. Ascorbic acid is recommended to be taken after acute alcohol intoxication and neuroinfections and hemorrhage in brain tissue.
  • Vitamins E. This is an antioxidant and antihypoxant: the vitamin protects neurons from oxygen starvation and strengthens the neuronal membrane from damage. Vitamin E is indicated for dyscirculatory encephalopathy and arterial hypertension.
  • Vitamin P. An organic compound strengthens the vascular wall and reduces its permeability. Vitamin P is indicated after hemorrhagic stroke.
  • Vitamin B6. It is involved in the regulation of lipid metabolism in blood plasma. Indicated for cerebral atherosclerosis.
  • Vitamin B12. Participates in the regulation of lipid levels in the blood, normalizes the rheological properties of blood, and lowers cholesterol levels. Taken for atherosclerosis.

Complexes containing a combination of vitamins, for example, Duovit. Ingredients: vitamin B, C, D, A, E, PP and calcium.

9-11: Berries

Any berries contain plant substances in concentrated form. Therefore, during the season, the beneficial properties of berries for blood vessels are actively used. They are dried, boiled, frozen for the winter, and they are also prepared into drugs that effectively combat pathologies of blood arteries and veins.

Kalina

For the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, the color, bark and bitter berry are used whole, along with the seeds. It is valuable because:

  1. viburnum strengthens the heart and walls of blood vessels;
  2. lowers blood pressure.

Viburnum is used with caution in cases of low blood pressure and a tendency to thrombosis: it increases blood clotting.

Cranberry

This is not just a natural concentrate of vitamins and minerals. The anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties of this berry save blood vessels from many problems:

  1. reduce the level of “bad” cholesterol and increase the level of “good” cholesterol in the blood;
  2. thin the blood, protecting against stroke;
  3. Cranberry strengthens the heart muscle and the walls of arteries and veins.

Rowan

Rowan berries and leaves are an excellent vitamin supplement for maintaining energy. The heart and blood vessels also need minerals, vitamins, tannins, which are contained in this plant, because:

  1. Rowan helps strengthen blood vessels;
  2. lowers blood pressure.

Therefore, for hypotension it is used in small quantities. Caution should also be exercised if there is a tendency to thrombosis, since rowan increases blood clotting.
