How to improve blood circulation in the body using folk remedies

Cerebrovascular accident

Hypertension and atherosclerosis are the two main causes leading to impaired cerebral circulation.

It is because of them that paralysis develops, vision decreases, coordination is lost, movement is impaired, and a stroke occurs.

Chronic vascular diseases of the brain are called discirculatory encephalopathy.

Its symptoms develop slowly and are not always noticeable not only to others. Often the patient himself does not attach much importance to them. Just think, I became forgetful. And some books come across that are uninteresting. It’s difficult to master a new computer program - they are now only for “advanced” youth...

This is how a person justifies himself, without trying to understand where the absent-mindedness and loss of interest come from, because his performance is still at the level. And this level is often maintained due to previous experience.

When it becomes difficult for a person to perform his usual job duties, it’s time to ring all the bells: if the damage to the blood vessels of the brain is not treated, the time will come for irreversible consequences. And it will all end with a premature decline in intelligence, which can quickly progress, up to a state of helplessness.

Another consequence of chronic vascular disease of the brain is a violation of motor activity and, above all, walking. A mincing and shuffling gait is not at all the prerogative of old age. It can also appear in a fairly young person if cerebral circulation is impaired. He does not complain of pain in his legs, there is no paralysis of the limbs, his balance is reduced, but his gait reveals the diagnosis.

The reason most often is that with high blood pressure, small arteries become sclerotic, and the normal blood supply to various parts of the brain is disrupted.

Smoking, obesity, high blood cholesterol are risk factors. You need to get rid of them on time.

Treatment of circulatory disorders with folk remedies

Cerebral circulation disorders usually occur against the background of vascular diseases such as hypertension and atherosclerosis. In this case, the vessels become clogged with cholesterol plaques, their permeability increases, metabolic processes are disrupted, which subsequently significantly increases the risk of stroke.

Head injuries, chronic fatigue syndrome, excessive physical activity, and spinal diseases can also have a direct impact on cerebral circulatory disorders. As the disease progresses, a person may experience a sharp deterioration in vision, the development of paralysis, impaired coordination and decreased intelligence.

Treatment with folk remedies

To keep blood vessels in order, use folk remedies for therapeutic and preventive purposes. Herbs will help, to a certain extent, restore the lost capabilities of the body, but they should be taken only after consultation with a doctor.

Treatment of cerebral circulation with a mixture of herbal tinctures

To improve blood circulation in the brain, you can use a mixture of tinctures of medicinal herbs. To do this, purchase at the pharmacy 100 ml of valerian root tincture, 100 ml of hawthorn fruit tincture, 100 ml of motherwort tincture, 100 ml of evasive peony tincture, 50 ml of eucalyptus tincture, 30 ml of Corvalol and 25 ml of mint tincture.

Pour all the ingredients into a bottle (preferably made of dark glass) and add 10 whole cloves. Seal the bottle and place it in a dark, not cold place for 2 weeks, shaking its contents periodically. When ready, take the medicine 3-4 times a day 25-30 minutes before meals, diluting 30 drops of tincture in 100 ml of cold water.

Alfalfa infusion is taken in the morning, afternoon and evening for 9 months, followed by a 1-month break and repetition of the course.

Strengthening the cardiovascular system with orchis tincture

To prepare an effective and high-quality tincture, only the fresh root of the plant, or rather its soft tuber, is selected. In this case, it is not necessary to cut off the entire plant; it is enough to carefully remove it from the ground, cut off the soft tuber and plant the orchis in its place. Next year the soft tuber will grow again and will benefit someone else.

After collecting 10 of these tubers, cut each of them into 2 parts and place in a dark bottle. Pour 200 ml of 96% alcohol into it and place it in a dark place for 14 days. The finished tincture is taken on an empty stomach, in the morning, 1 teaspoon. After about 1-1.5 months, the vessels damaged by the stroke are restored, and paralysis recedes.

Treatment of blood vessels and hypertension with a decoction of mulberry leaves

To prepare this folk remedy, pour 8-10 crushed mulberry leaves into 0.5 liters of water in an enamel bowl. After this, the mixture is boiled for 2-3 minutes over low heat and allowed to brew a little. Drink as tea for 3-4 months, preparing a fresh decoction daily. As a result of taking a decoction of mulberry leaves, the walls of blood vessels are strengthened and blood pressure is reduced.

Treating high blood pressure and cleansing blood vessels with lemons and oranges

To normalize high blood pressure and cleanse blood vessels, use lemon-orange porridge.

To do this, wash 2 oranges and 2 lemons thoroughly and, after removing the seeds, pass them through a meat grinder. Add 2 tbsp to the resulting mass. spoons of honey, mix and leave for a day at room temperature. After this, the mixture is transferred to a jar and stored in the refrigerator. Take the drug 1 tbsp. spoon 2-3 times a day until you feel better. It is washed down with tea.

To restore lost performance and get rid of paralysis, prepare the ointment according to the following recipe. To any herbal mixture purchased at the pharmacy, add 2 tbsp. spoons of dry crushed plantain, string, chaga mushroom, celandine and yellow immortelle, 100 g of buckwheat grains, oats, millet, soybeans and pass everything through a meat grinder.

Fill several 0.5 liter jars 1/3 full with the resulting mass, add the rest with vegetable oil and place in a cool, dark place for 2 months. Shake the mixture as often as possible, avoiding sediment. After 2 months, pour the contents of the jars into an enamel pan and heat to 60°C, pour it into the jars again and leave the tincture for another 1 month, shaking daily. When the drug is ready, it should be rubbed into the paralyzed areas every other day before bedtime (without washing off until the morning).

After 1.5 months, take a break for 10 days, and then repeat rubbing another 10 times every other day. Again a break and again 10 rubs. This concludes the course. You can repeat it after 1 month and after six months.

Treatment of cerebral vascular sclerosis, shortness of breath and spasms with horseradish, garlic and lemon

To clean clogged blood vessels with atherosclerosis, get rid of spasms and shortness of breath, you can use the following remedy: pass 5 cloves of garlic through the garlic, add about the same amount of grated horseradish and fill them with unrefined vegetable oil. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator and each time before use, mix 1 teaspoon of garlic mixture with 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. The drug is taken 3 times a day for 1-3 months, half an hour before meals. After a month's break, the course of treatment is repeated.

Treatment of atherosclerosis with hawthorn tincture

Hawthorn tincture will help you get rid of insomnia and nervous overexcitation, it will lower blood pressure and reduce the manifestations of thyrotoxicosis. To prepare the tincture, mash 0.5 cups of fresh berries of the plant and pour 100 ml of 40% alcohol into them.

The bottle with the tincture should be placed in a cool, dark place for 21 days, shaking it periodically. Strain the finished product and take 20-30 drops of tincture per day for 1 month. After a break of 10-14 days, the course can be repeated.

Rejection of bad habits

This direction is practiced simultaneously with the first: there is no point in changing your lifestyle, leaving bad habits. To achieve restoration of normal blood flow in the brain it is necessary:

  • stop smoking cigarettes, hookahs, electronic cigarettes, and other smoking gadgets - they all cause vasospasm, impair nutrition and oxygen supply to neurons, that is, they disrupt cerebral blood flow;
  • exclude alcohol from everyday life: if cerebral blood flow is impaired, ethanol is deadly because it causes a critical narrowing of arteries, arterioles, venules, capillaries, which provokes a sharp jump in blood pressure with the risk of developing a hypertensive crisis, stroke, chronic encephalopathy;
  • minimize caffeine consumption - this psychoactivator is found not only in coffee, but also in tea, so it is better to switch to herbal decoctions, granulated chicory, and other analogues;
  • giving up drugs is an axiom that does not require proof.

Methods to improve blood flow in the brain

To understand what measures are necessary to improve cerebral blood flow, you need to answer the question in each specific case - why this is needed. Doctors have a whole group of ways to achieve results at their disposal.

Nutrient deficiency and tissue hypoxia cause neuronal dysfunction, reduce their potential, provoke the death of some elements, and the brain loses communication between individual regions. This condition leads to an imbalance in the inhibition and transmission of nerve impulses. A person gradually loses memory; any mental effort provokes headaches, drowsiness, chronic fatigue syndrome, and impaired coordination of movements.

If hypoxia is severe, necrosis of certain areas of the brain is possible with the development of paresis, paralysis, and slurred speech. Pre-stroke and stroke develop, which require immediate medical attention and a long recovery period after serious therapy. Therefore, for healthy people it is easier and more reasonable to prevent such a situation by monitoring cerebral circulation and, if necessary, correcting it.

To improve blood supply to the brain, a set of measures and methods is needed:

  • drug correction: drugs that improve metabolism, stimulate glucose utilization, increase the resistance of neurons to hypoxia;
  • vitamins;
  • balanced drinking and food diet;
  • a set of physical exercises that increases the flow of blood and oxygen to the brain;
  • healthy lifestyle.

Some methods are also effective for peripheral disorders, while others act in a narrowly targeted manner. The main principle is the prevention of vasoconstriction, prevention of ischemia and tissue hypoxia.

Remedies to improve blood circulation in the brain

There are many means and methods to improve blood circulation in the brain. Starting from pharmaceutical drugs that should be used only as prescribed by a doctor, ending with popular recommendations. Measures to improve blood circulation in the brain and the entire body are carried out in three stages.

We cleanse the blood vessels of the brain and the whole body

Before you start working on improving blood circulation, you need to completely cleanse your body and brain of impurities and strengthen your blood vessels. To do this, you need to drink an infusion of medicinal herbs on an empty stomach. Best suited: chamomile, yarrow, St. John's wort, linden blossom, strawberry leaves, also add viburnum or rowan to tea. Also, in the morning on an empty stomach, drink a glass of clean water with lemon juice. You can also cleanse with lemon balm. Pour boiling water over the leaves and let it brew for 5 hours, then consume 50 grams three times a day. To keep your brain working like a clock, include carrots, onions, garlic, and horseradish in your diet. It is also useful to eat May honey. Eat a teaspoon in the morning and evening - it nourishes the brain and strengthens blood vessels.

Saturating the brain with oxygen: basic exercises

After you have cleansed the body and blood vessels of the brain, you can move on to oxygen enrichment to ensure normal blood circulation in the brain. When the brain is saturated with oxygen, all mental processes are activated, memory improves, and concentration increases. Exercises to improve blood circulation in the brain and enrich it with oxygen:

  1. Turn your head clockwise and counterclockwise at least 10 times in both directions.
  2. Raise your hands up, make a lock. Bend forward and at the same time monitor your breathing.
  3. Swing your arms and perform circular movements, developing your chest.

Breathing exercises are also useful for brain function.

  1. Breathe first through one nostril, closing the other, then switch nostrils. Breathe this way for 10 minutes every day.
  2. When you get comfortable with this kind of breathing, you can begin to complicate the exercise: counting the pulse, at beat number 8, hold your breath and wait for 8 beats, exhale and do it all over again.
  3. Another exercise: take a deep breath, make a tube out of your lips, and hold your breath. We exhale air through the mouth in parts, taking breaks, and holding our breath.

It is better to perform such exercises in the fresh air.

We normalize nutrition and enrich ourselves with vitamins

To improve blood circulation, you need to eat the following foods: vegetable oils, chocolate, nuts. Berries (currants, cranberries, blueberries) are also especially useful for cerebral circulation. Flax seeds and nuts rich in vitamin E have an effective effect. A positive effect is also achieved with the help of a properly structured daily routine and nutrition.

Visiting massage treatments

A visit to a massage helps relieve tension from the muscles of the back and neck, which in turn improves mood, memory and general condition. It is recommended to undergo massage treatments at least once a month. The most effective methods in this case are the following: classical massage, Yumeiho therapy, cupping massage.

Why does blood begin to circulate poorly?

In most cases, the inability of the blood to supply all parts of the body with the necessary substances is due to the lifestyle that a person leads: sedentary, with a lot of coffee, unhealthy foods and fast food, as well as alcohol.
First, let's define the symptoms that will tell you that you have problems with blood circulation. Externally, it is practically impossible to determine this. But this rule is not without exceptions. If such problems are present in people close to you, then a visit to the doctor should not be postponed.

All these symptoms are very simple, and they can be identified very easily. For example, with poor blood circulation, your hands or feet often freeze. Blood reaches the extremities poorly, so the body temperature in such “remote areas” decreases. In addition, the following symptoms may be observed:

  1. first of all, it is chronic fatigue, as well as exhaustion;
  2. veins can also bring problems, such as varicose veins;
  3. arms and legs may swell;
  4. wounds begin to heal more slowly;
  5. spots may appear, dryness of the epidermis, or even change the color of the skin;

But, blood circulation can be improved naturally, that is, without drugs. Of course, before doing this, consulting a doctor is essential.
